Mr and Mrs Steele, Poynton

Cheshire

This lovely bright and airy family kitchen was designed in conjunction with the renovations at the property. By extending across the back of the house the clients were able to create a flow from the kitchen to dining and living space. Stealing part of the garage to create a utility room allowed the client to use the kitchen solely for cooking and entertaining and retaining the range cooker created a focal point for the design. Early on our client wanted a place to display glassware so a Caple wine cooler and LED-lit glazed unit were installed to the rear of the island where they are easily accessible to the dining area. In addition - to avoid the lines of symmetry being broken up - we installed a microwave in the island, opposite the range cooker, but neatly out of sight. The Leicht units are in Gloss Mohair. Antique Oak is used for both the panels and the breakfast bar and the worktops are in Bianca Massa.
